VcodeR Quest privacy policy

Effective 7 October 2026

Provider: Angels&Demons s.r.o. (public publisher: Angels Demons). Contact: hello@getvcoder.com.

VcodeR connects your Quest workspace to coding agents on computers you choose to link. The account service stores your email, protected password hash, sessions, linked-computer details and task records. Messages, conversation history, agent replies, file reviews and tool output may include source code and other project content. These records provide the authenticated workspace and task continuity. Your connected agent provider processes requests under its own terms and privacy policy.

AI processing and sharing

When you press Send, VcodeR routes your message through its account service to the computer and agent you linked. That agent may send your message, relevant conversation history, source files and tool results to its AI provider (for example OpenAI for Codex), according to your agent configuration and permissions. The provider returns replies and may retain its own conversation history. Review your provider's privacy, retention and training controls before sending confidential content. VcodeR does not use workspace content to train its own models.

The Quest app does not send Meta user IDs, Meta access tokens, headset tracking, hand/controller tracking or raw native microphone audio to the coding AI provider. Tracking operates the local spatial interface. Typed messages or dictated text are shared only after Send; include personal data only when you intend the selected agent to process it.

Drafts, workspace layouts and preferences are stored on your device. Messages are sent to the workspace and linked agent when you explicitly press Send. Spatial tracking and hand/controller input are used to place panels and operate controls. Layout positions are saved locally. The Quest app does not request access to your room's scene model in the release candidate.

Microphone access is optional. Native English dictation and the optional local wake-word/hands-free controls use bundled recognition on the headset. Native microphone audio is processed in memory, is not saved by VcodeR and is not sent to the account service. Recognized text becomes a draft. Hands-free listening is opt-in; you can mute it, disable it or deny microphone permission and use the keyboard. Agent actions and draft sending require the app's explicit controls.

Optional computer mirroring shares the screen or window selected on the computer with the paired receiver. Computer permissions and source selection control what is shared. Display input additionally depends on the host's input permission and the selected source; application/window captures remain view-only. Pairing credentials are stored locally to support reconnection. Stop sharing on the host to end capture. Web preview sites you open process data under their own policies.

Workspace content is delivered to authorized devices and linked agents. Hosting infrastructure processes service data. VcodeR does not include an advertising SDK or sell workspace content. Support messages are used to respond to requests and improve the service.

Delete or correct your data

Delete your VcodeR account and service data. The deletion page requires sign-in, your current password and confirmation. It immediately removes active-service account records, sessions, linked-agent credentials, task messages and events, and disconnects your account's connected sessions. Cancellation is requested for running tasks; an offline computer process may continue. Account and task records otherwise remain while needed for your workspace.

For a correction, a specific-data deletion request, inability to sign in, or assistance with copies held by service providers or backups, email hello@getvcoder.com from your account address. We verify ownership without asking for your password, remove data we control without undue delay, and coordinate deletion with service providers where applicable. Restricted operational backups may contain older records pending deletion; deleted data must not be restored to active use.

Deleting VcodeR does not automatically delete project files on your computer or history in an AI account that you connected separately. Delete those through the computer or provider's controls. For Codex/OpenAI, see OpenAI privacy requests; for another agent, use that provider's privacy controls. Contact us for help identifying the relevant copies. Clear the Quest app's storage to remove local drafts, layouts and preferences.

You can sign out, revoke computer connections, deny microphone access and request deletion. Service transport uses HTTPS; account sessions use HTTP-only cookies. For questions about data, contact hello@getvcoder.com.
